The Technology Behind Yeti's Bikes
Yeti is known for their cutting-edge technology and innovative designs. Here are just a few of the trademarked or special technologies and components that the company uses in their bikes:
Switch Infinity Suspension
The Switch Infinity suspension system is a patented technology that provides unparalleled performance and control on even the roughest terrain. This system features a translating pivot that moves upward as the bike compresses, providing excellent anti-squat characteristics and a consistent pedaling platform.
Carbon Fiber Construction
Yeti uses only the highest-quality carbon fiber in the construction of their bikes, resulting in frames that are incredibly lightweight, strong, and responsive. Their carbon fiber frames are designed to offer maximum stiffness and minimum weight, ensuring that riders get the most out of each pedal stroke.
Turq Series
The Turq series is a line of high-end Yeti bikes that feature the latest in carbon fiber technology. These bikes are designed to be incredibly lightweight and responsive, with features like internal cable routing, Boost spacing, and custom shock tunes that offer unparalleled performance.
C-Series
The C-Series is a line of Yeti bikes that offer the same quality and performance as the Turq series, but at a more affordable price point. These bikes feature a slightly heavier carbon layup and slightly less advanced suspension technology, but still offer excellent performance and value.
Fox Suspension
Yeti bikes are equipped with Fox suspension components, including front and rear shocks and forks. These components are designed to work seamlessly with the Switch Infinity suspension system, providing excellent damping and control on even the toughest terrain.
Warranty
Yeti offers a limited lifetime warranty on all of their frames, giving riders peace of mind that their investment is protected. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, and is transferrable to subsequent owners.

- S: 5'3" to 5'7" or 160cm to 170cm
- M: 5'7" to 5'11" or 170cm to 180cm
- L: 5'11" to 6'3" or 180cm to 191cm
- XL: 6'3" to 6'6" or 191cm to 198cm
Naming Conventions
Yeti uses a variety of letter combinations and other words to indicate different build levels within their bike models. Some common terms used in build level names include:
- C1 - A build level that uses the Yeti C/Series carbon frame. This is a lower build level than the T-series build levels. Higher numbers within the C series (C1, C2, C3) are better.
- C2 - A build level that uses the Yeti C/Series carbon frame. An upgrade over the C1.
- C3 - An upgrade over the C2. Still a lower build level than the T-series build levels.
- T1 - A build level that uses the Yeti Turq carbon frame. Higher numbers indicate improved components over lower numbers. This is a better build level than the C/Series build levels.
- T2 - A build level that uses the Yeti Turq carbon frame. An upgrade over the T1.
- T3 - An upgrade over the T2.
- T4 - An upgrade over the T3.
- T5 - Wow, now you're really rocking and riding!
- TURQ - Indicates TURQ Series carbon fiber frame
- ULT - Indicates Rock Shox Ultimate Flight Attendant shocks.
- XX SL TRANSMISSION - The rear derailleur, crank, cassette and chain use SRM XX components.
