Santa Cruz joins the lightweight e-MTB trend with the 2024 Heckler SL. This is the most trail-ready e-bike on the market. Unbeatable power comes from a Fazua Ride 60 motor and a 430Wh battery. C and CC carbon frames are complete with the brand’s own VPP suspension platform. Also a mixed wheel set-up with a 29″ front wheel and a 27.5″ out the back.
Power of Champions
The Fazua Ride 60 motor delivers 60Nm torque and 450W of peak power. You get three ride modes – Breeze, River and Rocket – to choose different levels of assist. All customizable in the Fazua app and through the controller located on your handlebar. A 430Wh battery offers the same range as a 630Wh battery on a full-power e-bike. It takes just 3.5 hours to charge up through the frame. Then you can check up on the battery life from the display in the top tube.
Mountain Bike Specs
Yes, it’s an e-bike, but still a mountain bike at its core. The VPP suspension platform offers 160mm front travel and 150mm in the rear. Frames are available in small to extra-extra-large. Chainstays are matched to each size to balance agility and stability. A flip chip lets you adjust geo specs to accomodate trail conditions or personal preferences. High position is for tighter and more technical terrain. Low is for more speed and confidence on steep paths.

Five Build Kits
Heckler SL is available in the base R, S and GX AXS kits in C carbon. As well as X0 AXS RSV and XX AXS RSV in higher-end CC carbon. Different prices and options cater to anyone’s travel needs. It’s even offered in new Santa Cruz colors – Gloss Magenta and Matte Silver.
