We have partnered with Velocare to ensure that our customers can keep their bikes in peak performance, without worrying about costly maintenance costs. You invested a lot of money in your new bike. Let’s be sure that it’s maintenance doesn’t stand in the way of you enjoying it!
What’s Covered With Velocare
Almost any part on your bike that can break or wear out during the normal course of riding is covered by Velocare. Parts that are covered under a manufacturers warranty must be replaced under warranty. Velocare will cover these parts once the warranty period is over.

Velocare will replace these components assuming that they broke or wore out during the normal course of riding. Velocare does not cover accident or crash damage.
How Much Does Velocare Cost?
How Velocare Works
Simply put, if a component on your bike fails or wears out1, take your bike to any Velocare shop and assuming it is a covered component, it will be repaired at no cost to you. After purchase of the initial service plan, there are no fees, no deductibles, no hidden costs.
Velocare offers plans of 3 or 5 years to keep your bike going for years to come. Plans start at $129 and is adjusted based on plan length and bike value. Let’s run through a list of things you should know about Velocare up front. We want to be as transparent as possible on this to ensure you know what to expect from your Velocare service plan and from Airpark Bike Co.
- You can get your bike serviced at any Velocare approved bike dealer. You don’t have to have the work done at Airpark Bike Co.
- If you don’t live near a Velocare dealer, contact Velocare at support@velocare.com and they will help you make your claim with your local bike shop.
- You cannot make any claims to Velocare within the first 90 days of your plan.
- We, Airpark Bike Co, will make any necessary adjustments to your brakes and drivetrain within the first 90 days of ownership at no cost to you, if you buy a new bike from us. Any services or repairs will be charged at our normal shop rate.
- Velocare does not cover parts that are covered under the manufacturers warranty. After the manufacturers warranty period has passed, Velocare will cover the components at no cost to you assuming they are on the list of covered components.
- You can transfer your Velocare plan if you decide to sell your bike. The seller must contact Velocare within 15 days of the sale to provide Velocare with the buyer’s details. Send the buyer’s full name, phone number, email address, and home address to support@velocare.com.
- Velocare doesn’t cover tires, tubes, brake pads, or batteries.
- You may upgrade components that are covered by Velocare by paying the price difference between the original component and the upgraded component.
- During the length of your plan, Velocare will cover claims up to the original purchase price of your bike.
- You may purchase Velocare for a bike you already own as long as it was purchased new within the last 30 days.
