  • What's the difference between the TURQ and Carbon Series SB140?

    TURQ Series bikes have the highest quality carbon fiber available to optimize their weight, stiffness and durability. Carbon Series bikes have a modified carbon fiber layup. So they have the same stiffness and durability, but they weigh more.

  • What's Switch Infinity suspension?

    It has a patented translating pivot that switches directions as the bike moves through its travel. This provides anti-squat characteristics for superior pedaling performance. It also maintains re responsive suspension characteristics throughout the travel.

  • Does Switch Infinity require any maintenance?

    It has external grease ports to lube the bushings and seals. Re-grease it after 40 hours of riding. You should also clean off any excess dust and dirt throughout the week.

  • What travel fork is the SB130 made to use?

    150mm travel fork. You can run up to 170mm. That will slacken the headtube angle and seat tube angle and raise the bottom bracket. You can also shorten it. That will steepen the head and seat tube angles and lower the bottom bracket.

  • What's the maximum tire size for this bike?

    Up to 2.5". It has great tire clearance, but sizes vary by manufacturers. So there's no number that works for all brands.

  • Can I use plus size tires?

    No, this bike was not made for plus size.

  • What size rotor fits on the frame?

    203mm rotor with a brake adaptor, 180mm rotor without.

  • What cranks and bottom bracket can I use on this bike?

    PF92 (92mm) bottom bracket and only wide "q" factor cranks. It readily works with Shimano, SRAM, and RaceFace cranks. You have to do a fit check for other brands.

  • What rear wheel axle fits on this bike?

    Yeti or Shimano 1488mmx12mm E-Thru rear axle.

  • What type of headset does this bike use?

    Integrated 41mm/52mm tapered headset. The bearings are contained in the head tube. Giving you a lower ride height, more stiffness, and easier installation.

  • Can I use an angleset on this bike?

    It's made with an integrated headset with cups molded into the frame. So you can easily drop the bearings into the cups.

  • Can I run a stealth seatpost dropper on this bike?

    Yes, it has routing options for stealth only.

  • What's the largest single-chainring that fits on this bike?

    Yes, integrated ISCG '05 mounts. It works best with low-profile modern guides.

    210x52.5mm shock on most models. 210x55mm shock on Lunch Ride. It can be locked out, but Yeti recommends running it fully open for the best compliance and traction.

  • What type of shock hardware does this bike use?

    M8x36mm hardware on the air can side, and a custom Yeti reducer on the shaft side.

  • Can I put a coil shock on this bike?

    Yes, it's compatible with air and coil-sprung shocks.

  • What's the recommended sag for this bike?

    Start with 30% sag or 16mm of chock stroke for optimal pedaling efficiency and terrain compliance. You can go slightly above or below that amount to suit your preference. Be sure to set it at your normal riding weight, gear included.

  • What size seat post does this bike use?

    31.6mm seat post.

  • What size seat collar does this bike use?

    36.4mm seat collar.

  • What's the longest travel dropper post I can run on this bike?

    Yes, but that changes the geo. The headtube angle and seat tube angle gets slacker and the bottom bracket gets higher. Some people like these changes and some don't.

  • Can I replace/modify any Yeti frame parts?

    You should replace them with genuine Yeti parts. If you use parts from other brands, all warranties will be voided, and you assume full liability.

  • Can I change/upgrade the spec components?

    Some parts from Fox, Shimano, SRAM and other brands are standardized. Check with a mechanic to make sure your parts are the correct standard. And ensure that they are correctly and securely mounted to the bike without any interference.

  • Can I fit a water bottle in the front triangle?

    Yes, it fits a standard-sized water bottle in the front triangle with a piggy-back shock. Use a side-entry cage for easy access.

  • What's the warranty on this bike?
