The Megatower has big wheels and a big-hitting suspension to match. The lower-link VPP is borrowed from the V10. Making this the most capable 29er in the whole line-up. You can use air or coil shocks for a 160mm or 170mm fork. Then you have unmatched traction and bottom out resistance. Tune your ride with the flip chips. You'll always get incredible versatility and durability.

The frame has a shock fender, shuttle guard, downtube protector, and ribbed chainstay protector. You also have a sharp 76-degree seat tube angle and a 65-degree head tube angle. That makes for the most fun descents. Whether you're a diehard racer or you just want to conquer your hometown trails, this bike is for you.

  • What's the maximum tire size for this bike?

    29x2.5 in the short position, 29x2.6" in the long chainstay setting.

  • Can I install a Chris King bottom bracket on this bike?

    No, it could make contact with and damage the rear triangle.

  • Can I fit a chainguide on this bike?

    Yes, it has ISCG-05 tabs for easy mounting. Most chainguides that are made for this standard should work. Including MRP and e13 guides.

  • Can I use 27.5" wheels on this bike?

    No, it was built exclusively for 29" wheels and tires.

  • How does the chainstay length adjustment work?

    This bike comes in the short position. The brake mount is post-mount 180. So you can add any adaptor for your chosen rotor size. Or none if you want 180. This bike also has a special brake adaptor to adjust to the long setting. That only works with 200mm or large rotors. If you're using 203, use the included 1.5mm spacers between your caliper and the bracket. If you're using 200, put the spaces above the caliper. When you've changed the adaptor, install the long derailleur hanger, then flip the chip around in the non-drive dropout. There's a retaining set-screw in the chip. Loosen it to remove it, then tighten it when the chip is back on.

  • Are there any limitations for the rear shock?

    This bike is compatible with all shocks on the market. Anything from Fox to Rockshox.

  • Should I ride in the high or low flip-chip setting?

    You should try both. Start in high to make the bike more agile and easy to get used to. If the terrain is steep, switch to low. That will lower the BB and slacken the head angle. The leverage curve of the suspension is also more progressive. All of those changes will make you feel like you're seated further down. It's all easy to change whenever you need.

  • What's the largest chainring I can use on this bike?

    36t or smaller chainring with a 52mm chainline.

  • What kind of headset does this bike use?

    41mm upper and 52mm lower integrated headset cups.

  • What's the recommended fork?

    The geometry is based on a 160mm fork with a 42mm or 44mm offset. You shouldn't have less travel because the BB will get too low. But you can go up to 180mm fork.
