Arizona MTB trails

Arizona is a mountain biking paradise. The peak season runs during the winter, but hardcore locals bike here all year round! AZ’s beautiful desert landscapes are a sight worth a visit, with trails winding through saguaro-studded valleys, red rock canyons, and pine-covered mountains. Popular regions like Sedona, Phoenix, and Flagstaff each offer their own distinct mountain biking style.

In the Phoenix area, the Phoenix Mountains Preserve and South Mountain Park provide extensive networks of trails that are easily accessible from the city. The Hawes trail network is a well loved local favorite of our staff at Airpark Bike Co. These trails offer a mix of flowing singletrack, rocky descents, and challenging climbs, catering to riders of all abilities.

The trails in the Phoenix Mountains Preserve, such as the Piestewa Peak and Trail 100, are known for their panoramic views of the desert and city. We rent mountain bikes at the preserve if you don’t have your own, or want to test the latest and greatest bikes.
